FREE Mod: Turn Your Meteor Muncher into a Cookie Muncher! 🍪✨

Hey Cosmic Crafters! 🌟

It’s Mal from Cosmic Crochet, and I’m so excited to share my first FREE pattern MOD! This mod is for my Meteor Muncher pattern - you will need that to complete your Cookie Muncher🍪!!

This cookie is no-sew and you could make it chocolate chip or M&M, whatever you like.

Time for the Cookie Muncher! This mod is solely for the half eaten cookie! Please send me any questions you have as they come up. 

You are welcome and encouraged to sell your final products but please do not sell the pattern itself as it took a lot of work to create.

Stitches, Shorthands and Pattern Info:

St – stitch

Sc – single crochet

slst – slip stitch

Dec – invisible decrease

Inc – 2 single crochet into 1 stitch

MR – magic ring

() – indicates number of stitches in round

#x[] – repeat inside of [] # many times.

** ** - indicate sections of the pattern with assembly and other instructions.

Invisible Decrease: In front loops only insert your hook into the first stitch, insert your hook into the next stitch and yarn over, pull through two stitch loops, yarn over and pull through all loops.

Required Materials: You will need a small amount of the main color and polyfil. I used scrap yarn for the M&M colors in the cookie. This pattern worked in the round unless otherwise stated and written with US terms. It is designed to be worked in any weight/gauge yarn and no gauge is necessary.

Before you start: Begin by completing your Meteor Muncher up to page 11. Instead of a meteor we will be making a Cookie Muncher. Then proceed with the original assembly instructions.

Cookie (make 2): 

Rd1: 6sc in MR (6)

Rd2: 6x[inc] (12)

Rd3: 6x[sc, inc] (18)

Rd4: 18sc (18)

**Ch1 and turn**

Rd5: 5x[2sc, inc] (23) 

**There will be 3 unworked sts at the end of the row. Fasten off here for the first side. For the 2nd, ch1 and turn and continue to Rd6.**

Rd6: 20sc through both sides of the cookie.

**Stuff lightly and embroider your M&Ms or chocolate chips to the cookie. You should have the unworked 3 sc left open.** 

Rd6 cont: sc down the first side, 3 slst, sc up other side (5) 

**Fasten off and hide tail.**

Assembly: Sew the cookie bite side up between both hands. You can also sew the cookie into the mouth as well!
